VAO & WINTER JOURNEY & MY POET'S LOVE

It probably was the most challenging week I‘ve experienced so far...everything seemed to happen at once...after our concert at Semmering it continued non stop...from our final recording session of Schubert‘s Winter Journey to rehearsals with the incredible Soloists leading up to these two concerts at the Porgy & Bess. We were part of this year‘s „Kultur.Sommer.Semmering“ and I was very much looking forward to playing Schubert‘s Winter Journey within this wonderful festival directed by Florian Krumpöck and Nina Sengstschmid. You know how much mathias loves trains and so as soon as he has the chance to travel by train, that‘s what he does and I kept him company : ). Kiwanis Club Wels - Charity concert 

Coming home - for me playing in my home town is extremely challenging, I am even more nervous than usual and as for now I am kind of living at Schloss Puchbeg - it really felt like actually playing at home : ). mathias called me from the train and told me that Ingrid hurt her shoulder, it was inflamed and she was in a lot of pain and could hardly move her arm!!!!!!!

An diesen beiden Tagen hat man die einmalige Gelegenheit, sich einen Überblick über die vierjährige Zusammenarbeit Pale/rüegg  zu verschaffen und deren einzelne Stationen live mitzuverfolgen. Ittinger Pfingstkonzerte 2016  - show your true colours - let's go too far…: )

Mister Oliver Schnyder, the artistic director a n d incredible pianist was organizing this festival placed in a former monastery in Ittingen. A place of pure beauty and peace developed over 900 years!!!Unbelievable!!!And since 1977 it is a foundation for culture and education. This Sunday „Pfingstsonntag“ we had the pleasure to perform inside these magical walls. Can you believe it? Deep deep deep in the woods there is a place called Fornach…and Mister Walter Struger organizes concert abbonement with four concerts a year right there in the middle of nowhere and turns it into the place to be and the place to play.
